Charlie Dickson happily chose Powell River as a retirement setting due to its beauty and cultural activities; art being one of the most prominent. Due to a friend's encouragement she rediscovered her life-long love of knitting upon recovery from cancer.

Charlie creates shawls, scarves, cloche hats, and other accessories. She welcomes communication whether past or new friends or clients.
