Much of the pleasure in the process of creation comes from the freedom to develop the piece one bead, one stitch at a time. The beading and the quilting share many common threads. Both are done with a simple needle and thread. Both use colour and texture as integral parts of design and development of design. Both require patience and by necessity both are meditative in their execution.
