Wendy Brown took her training at Ontario College of Art in Toronto, majoring in Fine Art. In 1991, she moved to BC from Toronto. She has won several awards for her crayon and oil pastel work, including First Place in the BC Festival of the Arts.

At the studio on Willingdon Ave, she is currently showing several large acrylic paintings from The Blue Chair series, nudes in oil pastel and mixed-media drawings, paintings and sketches of Powell River landscapes.

Brown’s drawings and paintings hang in private collections in BC, Ontario, New York, California and England.
