Charlie Dickson happily chose Powell River as a retirement setting due to its beauty and cultural activities; art being one of the most prominent. Due to a friend's encouragement she rediscovered her life-long love of knitting upon recovery from cancer.

Now, five years later, Charlie's creations grace women's attire in Calgary, Toronto, Montreal & New York. Locally, her accessories including, bathing cover-ups and necklace ties, are available at Trendz Essence Fashions, 4726 Marine Avenue, Powell River, BC, and at her studio by appointment.

Charlie creates shawls, arves, cloche hats, and other accessories. She welcomes communication whether past or new friends or clients.
