The 2010 Powell River Studio Tour presents:

I create one-of-a-kind, hand formed works in clay at our home studio, which are raku or wood-fired. The raku pieces include shakers (rattles), masks and figurative jars, which are burnished to create a warm, smooth surface without glaze. I also have a selection of black and white burnished raku. Most recently, we built a wood-fired kiln with two other potters, and are making high-fired functional and decorative pieces.
